When you first connect your Trézor, you'll be guided through the initialization process:

This is the most critical security step. Your recovery seed is a list of words that can restore access to your cryptocurrencies if your Trézor is lost, stolen, or damaged.
Your Trézor will generate a 12, 18, or 24-word recovery seed. Write these words down in the exact order on your recovery seed card.
Never store your recovery seed digitally (no photos, cloud storage, or text files). Keep it in a safe, secure location.
